Tester / Senior QA Test Engineer – Hedge Fund £150k

Tester / Senior QA Test Engineer sought by award winning Hedge Fund. As Tester / Senior QA Test Engineer you will be responsible for establishing the testing / automated testing processes and the overall quality and timeliness of testing procedures. This will include testing of mathematical trading models, third part data feeds, release and regression testing as well as becoming a champion of automated test procedures.

This is a technology driven trading company using the interaction of complex mathematical models with high powered computer systems to process automated algorithmic trading (3 million price changes per second!) You will be working in a highly professional environment with intellectually challenging responsibilities.

Requirements for Senior Tester:
• You will be a highly experienced software tester with a highly technical background
• Thorough understanding testing procedures and methodologies including test case definition and test process planning
• You must have experience within a real-time mission critical finance environment, with experience of testing or developing production trading systems
• Extensive knowledge of automated test tools and the requirements for automated testing in a distributed computing environment (staf / stax)
• TDD / Agile processes
• Scripting, ideally Python in both Windows and Unix environments
• Programming experience with either C# or C++ advantageous
