Job Description

Linux Systems Administrator / TechOps Engineer *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a technologist with a range of experience across Linux SysAdmin, Networking, Virtualisation and Cloud based services?

You could be progressing your career at one of the country's leading PropTech companies that have revolutionised the way we find property for rent and sale and working on apps that are used by millions on a daily basis.

As a Linux Systems Administrator / TechOps Engineer you will focus on project based work (not BAU activities), such as implementing new technologies, migrating services, maintaining and upgrading existing technology. You'll collaborate with software engineering teams on various things such as enabling CI/CD and building microservices. You'll identify areas for improvement via task automation; current projects include designing and building a cloud platform for microservices and data analytics workloads, migration to containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes and implementation of a new VMWare virtualisation strategy - there'll be plenty of challenges and learning opportunities.

There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; in the coming months you'll join colleagues in the London office for three days a weeks with the other two working remotely. You'll be joining a diverse team environment with a range of perks, training and career development opportunities.

Requirements:
*You have a strong Linux Systems Administration background
*You have a broad knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Networking, Virtualisation (VMWare)
*You have a good working knowledge of Cloud based systems - they use GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and you'll receive training on this
*You have an understanding of microservices, CI/CD and DevOps tooling and are keen to learn more
*You're collaborative and have great communication skills

As a Linux Systems Administrator / TechOps Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £75k) plus benefits.
