Job Description
DevOps Engineer (Automation CI/CD Infrastructure). Would you like to work on complex and interesting systems that provide daily challenges; collaborate with a friendly and upbeat team and improve your skills whilst enjoying a good work / life balance with core hours 1000 until 1600?
As a DevOps Engineer you will be tasked with automating wherever possible to streamline processes and deployment for the software engineering teams; to include automating builds, build test / production environments and automate infrastructure with code, developing tools for developers.
The core product is a graphic display, used by big name media clients to create large scale digital visualisations; there's also a strong pipeline of Greenfield product development utilising Virtual Reality and Wi-Fi technology.
You'll be based in Cambridge offices with a professional, friendly, collaborative team environment; parking available.
Requirements:
*Experience of automating, debugging and optimising build jobs and automated tests using Jenkins, Python, Groovy, Shell
*Experience of configuring static and runtime analysis tools
*Familiarity with a range of development environments and tool chains such as Visual Studio, SCons, CMake, Android Studio, GNU
*Working knowledge of source control systems
*Knowledge of remote configuration management tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible)
*Experience with monitoring, logging, graphing and alerting with tools such as Graphana / Graphite
*Although systems aren't currently deployed to cloud this is an area the company is looking to move to so any Cloud (AWS preferred) experience is beneficial
