Hugely successful technology company that have created a global distribution system for the entertainment industry is seeking a Python Developer. The company has two core API products and you will help to make them the best in market by recommending improvements based on your previous experience working on APIs. Other projects you will be working on include; supporting and advising on the company's migration to a microservices architecture, actively developing a large legacy Objective-C code base ensuring it is fast, architecting and developing new services and products using modern tools and development practices and mentoring more junior members of the development team.
Based in London, you will be joining a friendly and supportive team within an inclusive and accessible company that have a flat structure.
*Strong Python development skills
*Previous experience architecting and building high-scale, low latency web applications
*Distributed systems experience
*Familiar with Cloud services (ideally Kubernetes)
*Degree educated in Computer Science or similar (2:1 or above)
*Familiar with unit testing
*Excellent communication and collaboration skills
