Software Support Engineer Berlin €80k
Software Support Engineer / Application Support Analyst (Microsoft). Would you like to work on complex, technically challenging systems, solving problems collaboratively with a hugely talented team whilst enjoying perks such as flexible working?
This is a busy a varied role; when you receive a ticket you'll ensure the customer gets a response within a few hours either with the solution or a suggestion for further trouble shooting. You'll use customer calls and remote access sessions to ask pertinent questions to get to the root of the problem by identifying the unusual configuration, virus, third party tool or particular file or action that is causing the problem. If it's a problem with the code this will rectified by a developer so you won't have to deal with that issue again, if it's with a third part you will be responsible for contacting the vendor and getting them to fix it.
When you're not working on tickets you'll be able to pro-actively identify new tools that will help you with your work (or even write them yourself).
You'll be working with a friendly, upbeat team in modern offices in Central Berlin.
*Strong problem solving skills with good technical know-how and a desire to advance your career in software / application support
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint or Excel
*Excellent written and spoken English and German language skills
*Aptitude and desire to learn
