Market leading financial software house providing real-time web connectivity market data and trading services to investment banks and other financial institutions worldwide is a seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer.
As a Technical Support you'll join the Service Desk responsible for providing 2nd / 3rd line technical support for customers' web based trading systems.
Responsibilities will include eliciting diagnostic information from the customer, performing analysis and working with developers to review product code and work with parts of the customers' code to replicate issues that they are experiencing. You'll develop strong working relationships with clients and ensure that their requirements and expectations are managed in a professional manner.
Offices based in the City with a friendly, software house environment.
*Experience of providing technical support for software systems / applications
*Good knowledge of Java and / or .Net code
*Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
*Advanced analysis and problem solving abilities
*Degree educated 2.1 or above; Computer Science preferred
