Job Description

Trade Desk Support Engineer / Technical Support Analyst (Sophis SQL). International Investment Bank is seeking a bright, ambitious Technical Support Analyst with Sophis experience to support a busy Front office trading desk as part of a small, close knit team.

As a Trade Desk Support Engineer you will support Front Office users (traders, analysts) in their daily activities within the asset management space. Responsibilities will include acting as the focal point for managing user enquires on business applications; working with vendors and development teams to deploy, maintain and configure custom applications and build new environments; train users; write and maintain user documentation; design and develop scripts to automate processes and install patches and updates, determining the impact on business applications.

Requirements:
*Experience in supporting a Pricing, Risk/PNL, Trade Capture, electronic trading platforms directly for a Trading desk
*Sophis (FusionInvest) experience
*Strong SQL skills (T-SQL, Package / View creation)
*Experience of troubleshooting within a Windows desktop / server environment
*Familiar with networking WAN / LAN troubleshooting
*Confident and pragmatic communicator
