Job Description

IT Support Team Lead (2nd line Technical Support / Front Office/ ITIL). One of the UKs largest Investment Management firms is seeking a senior IT Support Team Lead to provide leadership and manage the day to day work of the 2nd line Technical Support team - responsible for three main areas; Desktop Support, Front Office Application Support and Audio / Visual services.

As an IT Support Team Lead you'll be responsible for a team of 8-9; you'll carry out appraisals, one-to-ones and provide mentoring, upskilling your team and driving progression. You'll remain hands-on acting as a support element to the team on particular issues and providing support and cover where there are specific service pressures.

Requirements:
*Team leadership experience of a 2nd line support team
*Strong and demonstrable technical support skillset, ideally but not limited to Windows 7/10, Microsoft Office, App-V, SCCM, AD, Group Policy, Citrix
*Understanding of basic networking, TCPIP, DNS, DHCP
*Strong customer service focus
*Pro-active, self motivated and keen to take responsibility
*Excellent communication skills
*Desirable: ITIL certification
