Senior Network Engineer (Data Center) Dallas onsite to €175,000

As a Senior Network Engineer you will design, implement and manage complex network solutions in a multivendor environment including routing, access layer switching and data center switching, you'll be working with technologies such as Cisco, Arista, Mellanox, Palo Alto, Fortinet and WAN.

Responsibilities will encompass architecting and supporting various environments with the bigger picture in mind, participating in implementation and maintenance of network security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection systems and encryption to safeguard the company's data and monitoring of network performance to proactively identify and rectify any issues. You'll keep up to date with new and emerging technologies, evaluating and making recommendations for improvements.

Location / WFH:

You'll join the team based in the Dallas, Texas office on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday (the company can assist with relocation if you are already based in the US and have the right to work).

About you:

• You have advanced Networking and Data Center experience including as strong understanding of high throughput data center environments, private cloud and HPC
• You have strong technical skills with associated tools including most of the following: Cisco, Arista, Mellanox, Palo Alto, Fortinet, WAN, eGBP, iBGP, OSPF
• You're proficient with Meraki cloud managed solutions
• You have a strong knowledge of firewalls, network security best practices and encryption methods
• You're familiar with network automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Puppet and Terraform
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, stakeholder management and relationship building skills
