If you have a good knowledge of financial trading systems you could be joining this successful, technology driven FTSE 250 trading firm. As a Product Manager you will work closely with technical teams, Business Analysts and senior stakeholders, taking ownership of the development and planning of market making / pricing solutions with two key objectives: to reduce latency and increase P&L.
As a Product Manager you'll utilise your knowledge of trader behaviours and activities, partnering with stakeholders to define the roadmap and contribute to development priority decisions. Responsibilities will encompass gathering requirements, writing user stories, attending backlog planning, Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, Sprint Demos and Sprint Retrospectives. You'll analyse product feedback and identify trends and issues to find suitable solutions; continually monitoring key metrics for live products and projects to assess the success and suggest optimisations, promoting a culture of innovation.
You'll join a small, close knit team facing significant technical challenges in delivering a robust and resilient system whilst also supporting a diverse range of business needs. City based offices with an upbeat team environment, casual dress code and a good work / life balance.
*Experience of gathering and analysing requirements for large IT projects
*Experience of working in an Agile development environment
*Good knowledge of financial trading systems, at a minimum a high-level understanding different asset classes (FX, Indices, Commodities, Equities), ideally experience of market-making / pricing (Financial Pricing Data - e.g. Reuters / Bloomberg / S&P)
*Strong analysis and problem solving skills
*Advanced communication and documentation skills including effective stakeholder management
