Job Description

C++ Developer / Senior C++ Programmer (Distributed Systems Machine Learning Big Data). World renowned financial organisation is seeking a skilled Senior C++ Developer to join a talented, Agile team. You will work closely with the business to design and develop highly complex, distributed, trading Risk management systems.

As a Senior C++ Developer you will build new services or adding functionality to existing services that make up a huge distributed architecture. You will also use Python for integration testing and a proprietary JavaScript based language for user interfaces as well as Open Source technologies such as Cassandra and Spark as well as Machine Learning techniques to push performance and scalability of the Risk platform to the next level.

Based in the City this is a friendly, cooperative environment where you will work with the latest technologies and techniques to deliver an innovative solution to the majority of the banks and financial institutions worldwide.

*Excellent C++ development skills
*Experience of large, distributed systems
*Record of academic achievement, minimum 2.1 from a reputable university combined with strong A-level results
*Previous experience leading projects throughout the full development lifecycle
*Ideally you will have knowledge of financial systems, Machine Learning and Big Data technologies
