As an Incident Response Engineer you will you will be at the core of detecting, investigating and responding to security threats, while driving automation and improving detection coverage across the organisation. You'll play a key role in strengthening security operations by building and continuously improving monitoring and alerting capabilities, taking ownership of the incident response process end-to-end, investigating security events and ensuring rapid, effective resolution.
You'll design and optimise detection rules, reducing noise while maximising coverage, and maintain clear, actionable playbooks to support response efforts. Working across multiple tools and data sources, you'll enhance detection pipelines, automate workflows through SOAR, and continuously improve capabilities such as DLP monitoring.
Alongside this, you'll stay ahead of emerging threats through threat intelligence activities and contribute to wider security initiatives, helping to evolve and mature the overall security posture.
Location / WFH:
You'll join the team in the Birkirkara, Malta office 2-3 days a week with flexibility to work from home the other days.
