Product Architect (C# .Net SQL AWS) Nottingham / Remote to £85k

Opportunity to progress your career in an impactful, Product Architect role, at a tech company that provides a range of SaaS software solutions.

As a Product Architect you will collaborate with Product Management and Agile software delivery tribes to define, design, document and communicate the technical architecture for new products and features with scalability and reliability at the core, with a focus on payment systems.

You'll liaise between the Professional Services team and Lead Software Engineers to agree technical solutions to meet business needs and drive improvements; initially you'll assess the current architecture, identify technical debt and architecture improvements to create technical strategy and roadmaps for the next 6-18 months.

You will help foster an environment of innovation, collaboration, and inclusion, pushing towards an architecture that optimises flexibility, reuse, scalability, performance, durability and availability.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in Nottingham office once a month / quarter.

About you:

• You have strong software development skills with C# .Net, SQL Server and AWS (or other e.g. Azure, GCP); you don't ned to be hand-on with coding but have a strong technical development background
• You have experience with solution and technical design of multi-tier, distributed scalable .Net solutions
• You have a strong knowledge of event driven microservices
• You have advanced technical documentation skills
• You have excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills
