You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a scale-up US based trading company that has the backing of a large global FinTech.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will review and make improvements to Java based web trading applications across the organisation with challenges around scalability, security, performance and speed. You'll be working with a young codebase that is well engineered, with a talented team of Full Stack Engineers, providing guidance on Java software engineering best practices in a collaborative Pair Programming environment.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home 2-3 days week, meeting up with colleagues in the Krakow offices that offer a wide range of facilities and all the latest kit.

About you:

• You have advanced backend Java development skills, including multithreading and garbage collection
• You have a strong foundation in Computer Science including OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns
• You have a good understanding of scalability and how best to optimise backend systems for speed / latency
• Ideally you will also have some experience with Kafka for data streaming and AWS cloud services
• You have fluent English language skills
