Automation Engineer (Terraform Data CI/CD Ansible) Are you a skilled Automation Engineer with strong Terraform experience?
Would you like an opportunity to make an impact in a world-class quantitative research and technology company as they explore some of the biggest questions in finance?
As an Automation Engineer you'll play a key role in determining how the business delivers infrastructure and associated open source technologies. You'll help to facilitate the big drive to applying automation, IaC and CI/CD and associated methodologies across the engineering effort.
Day-to-day your responsibilities will be diverse and impactful, from defining automation standards to deploying Jenkins pipelines from code and enhancing the Terraform Enterprise platform and supporting modular development of reusable infrastructure components, you'll play a critical role in optimising and automating the cutting-edge in-house systems.
(Please note, whilst much of this role focuses on infrastructure and automation, this is not a DevOps role.)

You'll join colleagues in London-based offices in due course, where you'll benefit from a collaborative team environment and regular company-wide events (Covid-allowing)*
*You have strong Terraform experience
*You're passionate about delivering infrastructure automation
*You have an understanding of unit testing and CI/CD principles
*You have some Python/ Golang scripting skills (capability in any high-level language is acceptable)
*Ideally you'll have some experience with Jenkins/ Ansible
*Knowledge of Kubernetes is advantageous
