As a Backend Developer you'll work on a variety of client projects that span from Greenfield work for start-up companies to building mission critical systems for large enterprise clients. You'll work closely with the client technology and development teams to train them in software craftsmanship and best software practises including clean code, TDD and BDD as well as overseeing the delivery of their projects. You'll need to be open to using a variety of technologies and frameworks, always using the best tool for the job at hand.
The company offices are based in London, however you'll spend the majority of your time working from client sites or remotely from home depending on the client's preference. You'll need to be commutable to London to attend meetings when required.
*An experienced developer with in depth knowledge of a JVM language such as Java, Scala, Kotlin or Clojure
*You're passionate about technology, seeing it as your craft and you always champion best software practises (TDD, BDD, Pair Programming, Clean Code, Event Driven Architecture and Design)
*Good knowledge of AWS (will consider Azure or GCP)
*Excellent understanding of Agile methodology
*Strong communication, collaboration and client facing skills
