Backend Software Engineer / C++ Developer (C++ 11/14 Linux) *Remote Interview WfH*. Are you a skilled C++ technologist seeking a role where you can gain valuable experience with real-time trading systems? You could be joining a global FTSE 250 listed FinTech.
As a Backend Software Engineer within the real-time market risk exposure team you will design and develop C++ real-time, low latency systems within a distributed architecture to analyse market risk, calculate PnL in real-time and form strategies used to for automatic hedging. You'll work across the full development lifecycle from conception and design through to solution implementation, delivering functionality to meet critical business requirements.
You'll be a key part of a supportive, diverse, globally connected team and will have the opportunity to try new things and broaden your skills as well as gain valuable experience of financial trading systems.
Driven by technology this company can offer a remote interview / onboarding process as well as work from home during the current social distancing measures with flexibility going forwards; when you are in the office you'll be based in the City with an upbeat team environment, casual dress code and a range of facilities and break out areas.
*You have strong C++ development skills on Linux (including STL, OOD/OOP and C++ 11/14)
*You're experienced across the full software development lifecycle
*You have real-time multi-threaded software development experience (finance experience not necessary)
*You're a collaborative team member and have a genuine enthusiasm for technology, keen to learn and develop your skills and business knowledge
