Backend Software Engineer (Java) *Remote Interview WfH* Pioneering FinTech that is currently transforming the modern consumer banking space is seeking a skilled technologist with strong core Java development experience and asynchronous programming skills to join their accomplished Customer Security team.

In this Backend Software Engineer role you'll join a high-performing team responsible for the development and maintenance of highly available services to process user authentication and security mechanisms.
From asynchronous programming techniques to complex APIs, CI/CD and microservices, you'll join a highly technical environment where innovation is championed.

*You have strong core Java development experience (Java 8 or above, you'll be using Java 11)
*You have asynchronous programming skills
*You have Kafka, microservices, SpringBoot and AWS experience
*You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals like OOP, algorithm design, data structures and design patterns
*You have good working knowledge of CI/CD principles and TDD/ BDD
*You're a proactive team player who excels when working collaboratively
