Job Description
The company works with stakeholders across the energy sector (consumers, industry, academia and government) to identify innovation priorities, gaps in the market and overcome barriers to accelerating the decarbonisation of the energy system at the lowest cost.
As a Business Analyst you will lead the gathering, analysis and documentation of customer requirements and stakeholders within the digital team working on a Greenfield project; you'll collaborate with system, software and hardware architects providing use and technical solution stories for execution by development teams. You'll work closely with the Scrum Master to manage projects amongst cross functional Agile teams and lead the design of appropriate testing; create and deliver release plans.
There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home most of the time with only occasional (once a week / fortnight) visits to the office in Central Birmingham (10 minute walk from 3 mainline stations).
Requirements:
*You're a Business analyst with expertise in requirements elicitation and analysis
*You have a good knowledge of Agile methodologies and have experience of working with software development teams
*You have experience of leading projects and team members (e.g. other BA's or QA Test Engineers)
*You're a skilled communicator, pragmatic and approachable with excellent written and verbal skills
*You are able to produce high quality technical documentation
*Ideally you will have an interest in the Green Energy sector
