Job Description

Cloud Engineer / Developer (Azure .Net) *Remote Interview*. Are you a technologist seeking complex and interesting systems to work on where you can make a real impact, building critical systems from scratch?

You could be joining a tech incubator within a global InsureTech business, working with an accomplished team and continually learning. As a Cloud Engineer / Developer your role will be varied encompassing development, maintenance and troubleshooting of rapidly expanding Cloud Computing applications in Azure with a focus on delivering mission critical solutions, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. You'll partner with the Cloud Architecture Team to gain an indepth understanding of new application requirements and specifications as well as the DevOps Team for source code control, automated testing, automated deployment and defect tracking, writing scripts in C# .Net to automate routine tasks.

This Cloud Engineer / Developer role will provide you the opportunity to work on complex, challenging systems within a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
Based in Central London you'll join an upbeat team of technologists and will have access to a wide range of facilities at the parent company's nearby offices including a gym, restaurant, workspaces etc.

Driven by technology the company is able to conduct a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures.

*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure with experience of building Azure applications
*Ability to code with C# .Net (will also consider Java or Python if happy to use C# going forward), good understanding of the software development lifecycle
*Good working knowledge of SQL
*Understanding of microservices architectures, serverless computing and keen to deepen your knowledge / experience
*Aptitude and ability to learn and pick new things up quickly
*Collaborative with good written and verbal communication skills
*Degree educated - Computer Science preferred
