You could join this global cyber security firm in an exciting role that encompasses highly technical, impactful challenges. They are seeking an accomplished Cyber Security Engineer with a wealth of experience in automotive engineering to spearhead the R&D product development for a ground-breaking security product.
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you'll collaborate with the R&D software team to create and operate an ICS laboratory representative of automotive CAN and Ethernet networks for monitoring and analysis.
The ideal candidate will have software development experience ideally in C++, although other OO languages will be considered. It is also imperative that candidates are able to set up lab environment / able to test/ manipulate the in-vehicle network on your own, in addition to knowledge of CAN networks at one end, to knowledge of ICE system running android, to internet connection at the other.
*Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview, onboarding and work from home during the current social distancing measures. There will be a gradual return to the office from early 2021.

Requirements:
*You have strong scripting skills in an OO language, ideally C++
*You have experience working on connected cars/ autonomous driving
*You have experience of creating and operating a variety of automotive in-vehicle networks (CAN / Automotive Ethernet preferred)
*Good working knowledge of ICE (entertainment) systems
*You have CAN networks experience; CANbus, Powertrain, Vector, FlexRay, Ethernet
*You can set up lab environment / able to test/ manipulate the in-vehicle network on your own
*You're degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above in a relevant discipline
