Data Engineer (Python ETL Machine Learning). Would you like to work with a range of clients in various locations across Germany and Switzerland with all expenses paid travel, a pipeline of new and interesting challenges as well as continual learning opportunities and the freedom to work at home?
You could be joining a growing Technology Consultancy that specialises in data centric solutions for big name corporate clients.
As a senior Data Engineer you will take a lead on client projects, from the initial technical pre-sales proof-of-concept phase through architecture and Machine Learning models to integration and continual improvement; you'll have ownership across the end-to-end lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership, see the results of your work and partner directly with clients. You'll be enabled to keep up to date with new and emerging technologies with continual learning and development opportunities.
This Data Engineer role will require you to visits client sites in Germany and Switzerland for upto 3 days a week with all expenses paid (following social distancing measures); they also offer a generous car allowance and range of other benefits including work from home when not on client site.
*You have a broad range of Data Engineering experience with a good knowledge of ETL pipelines and strong Python coding skills
*You have a good knowledge of Machine Learning, and / or Data Science stacks such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch
*You have a deep understanding of data structures, data management as well as their preparation (e.g. relational databases, SQL)
*You have excellent German and English language communication skills and are comfortable working with and presenting to clients and senior stakeholders
*You're likely to be degree educated in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science or mathematics
As a Data Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to €115,000) plus benefits.
