DevOps Engineer (AWS Cloud Kubernetes Ks8) Are you an accomplished DevOps Engineer looking for an opportunity to use your specialist technical skills as a force for positive change, in an organisation built on 'Tech for Good' principles?
Not only will you play a key role in shaping and enhancing the business-wide DevOps operation, you'll have the opportunity to proactively l provide leadership, strategy and development of a small DevOps team, supporting their performance and enhancing their DevOps capability.

In this DevOps Engineer role, you'll take ownership of managing the existing cloud infrastructure for the cutting-edge, AWS platform monitoring solution, including streamlining and driving performance improvements.
You'll help to develop, deploy and maintain additional cloud infrastructure to support projects as required (Jenkins CI pipeline) as well as engaging with software development teams to identify infrastructure requirements, design solutions and deploy them.
*Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home during the current social distancing measures. You'll join Central Birmingham offices in due course (Birmingham (10 minute walk from 3 mainline stations); with flexible working hours and 2-3 days a week WFH going forwards*
Requirements:
*You have a strong knowledge of both AWS and Kubernetes (CKA certification would be beneficial)
*You have CI pipeline experience, and experience integrating automated test tools with Cucumber, Postman or SoapUI
*You have good knowledge of Linux OS
* You have experience with any of the following: Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Postgres, MongoDB, Cassandra, Spark, Kafka
