Job Description
This is an exceptional opportunity to accelerate your career as you'll be involved in projects across the entire infrastructure, from networking, firewalls, external network routing, multiple data centres through to operating systems, data replication and application services.
You'll act as a key technical pivot by guiding the DevOps initiative, driving the adoption of DevOps technologies and processes like containerisation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring and pipelines to leverage knowledge and take the DevOps operation to the next level.
From maintaining the software-related infrastructure; including provisioning, installing, configuring and other infrastructure-related tasks to shaping and optimising the entire DevOps operation, this is a high-visibility role where you will recognise the positive impact of your work from the start.
*Please note: this company is able to conduct a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures. You'll join London-based offices in due course with continued flexible work opportunities including 3-4 days a week working from home.*
Requirements:
*You're degree educated in Computer Science or similar subject
*You have good working knowledge of Linux OS
*You have experience in scripting and automating day-to-day DevOps tasks
*You have working knowledge of the following technologies: Kafka, BigData, Docker, Ansible and Python
*You have experience working in a CI/CD environment
*You have an automation-driven mindset
*Cloud skills / experience is beneficial
