Job Description
The core product is an advanced process simulation, modelling and optimisation software for the process industries (power, biochemical and pharmaceutical). As a DevOps Engineer you will develop and maintain Windows and Linux based CI/CD systems, code review tools and automation pipelines and help develop and maintain the virtualised and containerised application environment, ensuring the systems are working as efficiently as possible and suggesting ideas to improve and streamline processes.
Based in West London you'll be working with a diverse international team.
Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures.
Requirements:
*You're degree educated in a STEM discipline, Computer Science preferred
*You have solid commercial experience in a technical role, ideally Linux, DevOps and are keen to progress your career in this area
*You have a good working knowledge of Linux OS
*You're able to code with Python
*You're familiar with Docker or Kubernetes
*You have a good knowledge of Cloud based systems (AWS, GCP, Azure)
*You'll collaborative and have good communication skills
