Job Description

DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (Automation CI/CD Infrastructure). Are you a skilled DevOps Engineer looking for your next challenge? Would you like to make an impact in an award-winning scale up and make an impact through powering improvements to their innovative core product?

As the sole DevOps Engineer, this is a fantastic opportunity to shape and direct processes company wide, showcasing your expertise across improving the security, reliability and performance of their innovative platform.

As a DevOps Engineer you'll partner with an upbeat, dynamic engineering team and will take ownership of identifying opportunities for improving how the teams deliver software into production, as well as innovating release tools or how infrastructure is managed. You'll also take the lead on proactively identifying opportunities for improvement across the public facing product, as well as security concerns and troubleshooting when appropriate.

In this DevOps Engineer role you'll use an up-to-the-minute, diverse tech stack; a Symfony 2 application deployed to AWS, managed by Terraform and SaltStack with multiple releases per week which you'll help to make more frequent. Recently, the company has moved towards Docker, Kubernetes and EKS - so there are plenty of opportunities to develop and refine your technical skills.

*You have a strong software development background and know how to drive improvements with high quality code and testing
*You've designed robust, production strength applications with high traffic architectures
*You have an appreciation for complicated SaaS platforms with high availability
*You have experience with AWS / other Cloud platform
*You have good working knowledge of Automation tools; Terraform, SaltStack, Jenkins, Git (and logging tools like the ELK)
*You're a passionate technologist, keen to develop your skills and keep pace with emerging technologies
*You're a positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively

As a DevOps Engineer you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £90k) plus stock options and benefits, including individual training budget, mentoring programme, generous holiday allowance, enhanced parental leave and more. You'll be based at funky, modern offices in South London where you can enjoy a fully-stocked kitchen, free weekly massages and quarterly surprise office outings.

If you are interested in this DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (Automation CI/CD Infrastructure) role or would like to find out more, apply now or call today for a confidential discussion.

*Please note: this company is able to conduct an entirely remote interview process during the current circumstances*
