Job Description

Engineering Manager (Agile C# .Net) *Remote Interview WfH*. Global FinTech is seeking a highly technical Engineering Manager to head up 2-3 Agile teams focussed on the developer experience across the organisation; they provide the tools and SDKs used by engineering teams across the company.

As an Engineering Manager you will oversee project and operational service delivery, pro-actively managing the scope, resource, schedule and trade-offs as well as managing risks. You'll remain hands-on with architecture and design for both software applications and scalable architecture, advocate best practice and collaborate with senior stakeholders to report progress.

You'll be a people manager, providing performance management and career development opportunities as well as managing recruitment for your team.
There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home fulltime for the foreseeable, in time you'll join colleagues in the Cambridge office 2-3 days a week.

*You have a strong technical background with an excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle and delivery (the tech stack is comprises of C# .Net Core, microservices and Azure)
*You have experience of managing mid-sized teams, around 10-20 engineers
*You're a skilled communicator, able to achieve buy-in and inspire others and have stakeholder management experience
*You have a good knowledge of Agile methodologies
*Ideally you will have experience in a SaaS product environment
