Engineering Manager (Java SpringBoot Microservices Cloud GCP). Are you an experienced Java technologist with leadership experience looking for an opportunity to step up into a hands-off Engineering Manager role?

Hugely successful tech company that have revolutionised the way people find properties is seeking an Engineering Manager with a Java background to join their team. This is mostly a hands-off role (around 10 - 20% hands-on development) where you'll manage a team of 5 - 6 people within the Data Services Team. You'll be coaching and developing your team, conducting performing reviews, assessing training and developing needs and encouraging continuous improvement whilst work closely with other Engineering Managers to identify and resolve issues. You'll play a vital role in building key relationships between teams and will build and drive forward a tech community across the business.

The position is currently remote, however you'll be expected to work in the office 3 days a week once they reopen.
