Full Stack Software Engineer / Java Developer (JavaScript) Are you a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer seeking a new challenge that encompasses complex but highly rewarding mission-critical work across the full development lifecycle?
World-leading FinTech is seeking a technically-sharp Full Stack Software Developer to join their accomplished team and make an impact. The organisation's leading edge core product is a unique trading platform where nearly 66.8 million trades are executed annually.
In this Full Stack Software Engineer position you'll join a dedicated in-house team of developers, predominantly working in Java to support the highly scalable, mission critical, real-time financial trading system. Your work will be diverse and impactful, from designing and implementing complex serverside components to working on the JavaScript and React front end.
As a senior member of the team you'll be granted the autonomy to work independently on a diverse range of Java and JavaScript-based projects that support every aspect of the core platform.
*Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview, onboarding and work from home during the current social distancing measures. You'll work from home for the foreseeable, with some expectation that you'll be based full-time in offices in the heart of the City (with potential for some flexibility)*
Requirements:
*You have strong object orientated Java 8 development experience
*You have a good knowledge of Oracle databases, PL/SQL
*You're familiar with JavaScript including frameworks such as React and Redux
*You have experience across the full lifecycle development
*You're a self-assured communicator and proactive team player who excels when working collaboratively
