Job Description

Help Desk Engineer (JIRA Confluence). Technology consultancy that specialise in solutions for the Financial Services industry is seeking a skilled Help Desk Engineer with a passion for technology. As a Help Desk Engineer you will be responsible for supporting clients on the Client Service Desk and providing general IT Support to the internal users, utilising JIRA in order to manage and track the tickets as well as owning the administration of JIRA.

Responsibilities will include administering and providing user account provisioning; troubleshooting and diagnosing general IT issues; ensuring all new hardware and software setup for new employees'; writing training manuals (Confluence); troubleshooting first line support issues (including coding), amongst other tasks that will provide an interesting spread of work that will allow you to continually learn and progress your career.

*You have experience in a similar Service Desk / Helpdesk Support role
*You have a good knowledge of JIRA and Confluence including administration experience
*You have a logical mindset, strong problem solving abilities and are calm under pressure - with strong organisation and prioritisation skills
*You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
*You're likely to be degree educated in a STEM discipline (not necessary if you have demonstrable experience)
