Job Description

Infrastructure Engineer / Backend Developer (DevOps AWS Cloud Python). Key partner to the energy trading space is seeking an ambitious, technically-sharp Infrastructure Engineer to join their 'Tech for Good' mission, making a difference through working on ground breaking AI technology.

The organisation is navigating the volatility and complexity of energy markets and resources by utilising their unique cutting edge technologies to create a next generation social infrastructure, improving the quality of life of people around the world.

As a Infrastructure Engineer, you'll help design and build the innovative backend system in Cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud; taking ownership of architecture design, database design, coding, testing and deployment. You'll have the chance to partner with a highly talented multi-national team in an Agile framework, contributing to development in a company that has won a reputation for its inclusive culture and out-of-the-box thinking.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll earn a highly competitive salary (to £55k) plus a comprehensive benefits package. You'll be based at offices in Cambridge where you can enjoy flexible working (including a day a week at home) and have your training and career development paid for.

*Good knowledge of Cloud platforms, AWS and Google Cloud preferred
*Ability to code with Python
*Positive team player, willing to get stuck in, work collaboratively and share ideas
*Degree educated (Computer Science preferred)
