Job Description

Infrastructure Project Manager (Linux) *Remote Interview WfH*. Are you a Technical Project Manager with a strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and experience of delivery end-to-end solutions?

You could be progressing your career at a prestigious Hedge Fund.

As an Infrastructure Project Manager you will utilise your technical know-how to define and lead large scale, global infrastructure projects. You'll partner with business stakeholders (including Front Office trading staff) to understand the current infrastructure requirements, identify potential improvements and manage stakeholder expectations as well as managing 3rd party vendors.

You'll build relationships with stakeholders, establish priorities, manage expectations, collaborate with IT infrastructure team on the longer term vision and help drive deliverables to completion.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; there's plans to re-open the office in September with a staggered return and 2 days a week in the office (more if preferred); when you are in you can enjoy onsite gym, meditation room and a range of other facilities.

Requirements:
*You have a deep technical understanding of IT Infrastructure concepts (e.g. servers, network, storage, file systems) and the software development lifecycle
*You have experience of managing large scale infrastructure projects within Linux environments
*You have a good knowledge of software development and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and Git
*Ideally you will have hands-on technical experience with shell scripting, Python and/ or SQL
*You're comfortable with change and ambiguity, able to take ownership and drive projects to delivery
*You have advanced communication / stakeholder management skills
*You're degree educated in a STEM discipline (Computer Science would be great)
