Java Developer / Backend Software Engineer (Java JVM Kotlin AWS) *Remote Interview WFH*. As a Java Developer at this pioneering search technology start-up you will build features across the ecosystem of products and services, both internal and client facing. You will work with other engineers to remove pain points, optimise workflows and enhance the intelligence and capabilities of the system with exposure to the full development lifecycle, seeing the impact of your work immediately. You'll work with a variety of languages and technologies (predominately Kotlin and AWS) and will be able to impact choices, there's a lot of new Greenfield development projects as well as optimisation and scalability work.
You'll be based in modern open plan City offices with casual dress code and friendly, informal atmosphere; you'll be working with colleagues from bright, motived graduates through to industry leading professionals from companies such as Google and Amazon.

*Ability to write code in a high level programming language such as Java, Python, Ruby
*Keen to work with new and emerging technology such as Kotlin on AWS

*Degree educated, Computer Science, Mathematics (or similar numerate discipline)
