Junior Technical Writer (JIRA AsciiDoc GIT) *Remote Process* Pioneering software house is seeking a technical wordsmith extraordinaire to join their dynamic Documentation team.
The company is the market-leader in web trading technology, dedicated to supporting blue-chip global financial clients to build high performance web trading apps that deliver vital information in real time.
They are seeking a skilled Junior Technical Writer to take ownership of creating and maintaining documentation for software developers, system administrators and end users. You'll also proof read important documentation submitted by other teams for publication, meeting with Product Owners and developers to gather information about new product features and for documentation reviews.
You'll gain a critical overview of the company, their cutting-edge products and innovative software development and the wider industry, collating and analysing information from multiple sources across the business from product testing to developers, using JIRA, Confluence and Source Code. They currently work with tech across the Docs-as-Code toolchain, so notable experience with things like AsciiDoc and Git is highly advantageous.

*You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex technical ideas concisely to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
*You have some experience of developing SDKs and have worked with software development teams
*You have strong interpersonal skills and can construct robust working relationships business-wide
*You're ambitious and excited by the prospect of making an impact in an industry-leading financial services company
*You're likely to be degree educated in Computer Science or relevant discipline
*Appreciation and knowledge of the financial services industry is advantageous
