Job Description

Lead Java Software Developer / Engineer (Java Spring Hibernate TDD SCRUM CI/CD). An international courier company is seeking an accomplished Lead Java Software Developer to work alongside their Technical and Developer Team and Head of IT, to support them in developing their key products.
In this Lead Java Software Developer role you will work across the full development life cycle, taking ownership of gathering key internal business requirements, liaising with clients to formulate and propose solutions through to delivery.

The company works in a truly Agile, highly collaborative way with Test Driven Development at its core. So, from building sprints with the head of IT to producing high quality, maintainable code - you will be working towards upholding the pace of development with frequent releases per week and will have the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects.

Requirements:
*You have Java experience (they're using Java 11) and Spring framework, (ideally Spring 5.2)
*You've worked with Test Driven Development
*You're familiar with SCRUM practices, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
*You thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment
*You have experience with related technologies, such as Tomcat, Jenkins, SVN, Jira or STS
*Desirable: experience in Hibernate / JPA, Cucumber, Maven or Struts
As a Lead Java Software Developer you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £80k, multiple roles available) plus benefits including flexible working around the core hours. You'll be based at offices close to Heathrow with onsite parking available.
