Lead Software Engineer (Python Node C++ Performance Optimisation) *Remote Working UK* Industry-leading cyber security organisation is seeking an accomplished technologist to join their exceptional team and make an impact.

In this Lead Software Engineer position, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex systems, remaining hands-on whilst also acting as a key technical pivot and influencing technology choices.
You'll focus on the performance, reliability, scalability and robustness of the global platform, analysing performance of production systems and architecting and implementing software enhancements with a focus on enhancing performance and scalability.
This is a high-visibility, high impact role where you'll take responsibility for ensuring all systems meet the required metrics, including developing software for performance testing and designing and running load tests.

*You have a broad range of software engineering experience
*You're analytical with a logical mindset and enjoy problem solving with a genuine enthusiasm for optimising system performance
*You have hands-on coding skills with Python / C++ or Node.js
*You have a good understanding of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS and TLS
*You have a good working knowledge of cloud based systems - ideally AWS and Linux OS
*You're a positive, proactive team player who excels when working collaboratively
*You're collaborative with excellent communication skills
