Linux Engineer (Python DevOps Trading Debian) *Remote Process* Trailblazing technology-powered eTrading firm is seeking a bright Linux Engineer to play a critical role in their close-knit team and make an impact.

The organisation has constructed supremely sophisticated computing environments for research and development, and is currently a world-leader in eTrading.

As a Linux Engineer you'll be part of a global, wonderfully diverse family who call upon expertise from mathematics, computer science, physics and engineering and are motivated by the excitement of being at the forefront of the field.

From building complex Python venvs and debian packages, to operating system deployment and configuration automation, in this Linux Engineer role you'll have an opportunity to get involved across the technical spectrum to build and maintain the company infrastructure. You'll play a critical role in optimising the software that allows the trading strategies and research environment to run worldwide, 24/7.

Requirements:
*You have an in depth knowledge of Linux and ABI compatibility
*You have strong Python scripting skills / coding ability (and good knowledge of tools like PIP, virtualenv, wheels, setuptools)
*You're familiar with systems configuration management, monitoring and metrics
*You have good working knowledge of network protocols and file systems
*You're a natural problem solver who excels when working collaboratively
*You have a strong foundation in Computer Science (likely to be degree educated)
