Job Description

Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (RedHat CentOS). Are you a Linux technologist? You could be joining a global technology company, working on one of the world's most modern Supercomputers, continually learning and progressing your career.

As a Linux Systems Administrator you will support the development of a high performance cluster environment encompassing servers, storage, workstations and networking. This is a very hands on technical role that will include installations and Data Centre work such as racking, component swaps and network cabling. You'll automate wherever possible and help out with a range of tasks including some first line support and deeper investigations as part of a small, collaborative team.

There's plenty of scope for career progression as a Linux Systems Administrator, you'll be encouraged to stay up to date with industry best practice and have paid for training and certifications.

The company is currently working with a mix of office and work from home with a great deal of flexibility but the expectation that you will be office based for the majority of the time.

Requirements:
*You're a Linux technology enthusiast with a breadth of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or Engineer
*You have strong trouble shooting skills of systems and application issues
*You have a good understanding of storage, deployment, automation, configuration and networking (e.g. xCAT, Lustre, Cisco, Ansible)
*You're able to script / code with Python
*You're familiar with monitoring systems such as Zabbix and Ganglia
*You have a good understanding of Data Centre environments
*You're degree educated, Computer Science preferred
*You're collaborative, with good communication skills and client facing ability
*Certification - preference for RHSCA / RHCE
