Job Description
As a Network Engineer you'll focus on moving workloads from on-premise to Azure, creating F5 resources, Azure NSGs, Palo Alto / Checkpoint firewall rules as well as trouble shooting end to end connectivity. You will also support the Data Centre migration, moving network circuits / connectivity to new Data Centres and manage 3rd parties to produce and implement network cutover plans and failover testing.
The company is offering remote interview and onboarding process and work from home until January 2021 at which point you'll be expected in the office either in London or Coventry on a full time basis; please note this role is on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.
Requirements:
*Strong experience as a Network Engineer in a Cloud based environment, ideally with Cloud migration experience
*Strong F5 knowledge with experience of creating / managing iRules and using GTM or LTM
*Experience of working with Azure networking fundamentals e.g. subnets / vnets / NSGs, able to provision via Terraform or PowerShell ideally
*Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Checkpoint
*Strong core networking knowledge e.g. BGP, MPLS, QoS, HSRP
*Collaborative with good communication skills
