Job Description

Network Engineer (Linux Unix Bash Python Networking HTTP). Hugely successful tech company that have revolutionised the way people find properties is seeking a Network Engineer with strong networking skills to join their team.

As a Network Engineer you'll be part of the operations team who are responsible for the core infrastructure and the availability of the company website. You'll be responsible for a range of networking tasks including switching, routing, load balancing and traffic management. This is an exciting time to join as there are a number of interesting projects in the pipeline within the team including a move to containerisation with Docker, implementation of a new virtualisation strategy and migrating legacy services to Linux.

The position is currently remote, however you'll be expected to work in the office 3 days a week once they reopen.

Requirements:
*Strong Linux / Unix administration skills
*Very experienced with networking including switching, routing, load balancing, traffic management and API gateways
*Scripting skills either with Bash or Python
*Networking security experience (Brocade, Juniper or Cisco)
*Understanding of IT infrastructure components and best practises
*Excellent communication and collaboration skills
