Job Description

Project Manager / PM *Remote Interview WfH*. Would you like to join a well-funded technology start-up where you can establish the Project Management function, introduce best practice and see the impact of your work?

The core product is a complex mathematically based C++ algorithmic software that can be used on a range of devices to process audio, such as IoT home devices, smart speakers, hearing aids and more.

As a Project Manager / PM you'll collaborate with the Product Manager to manage projects across the business, liaising with clients and software engineers across the full project lifecycle. You'll be responsible for planning, creating product roadmaps, time budgets and monitoring resources / project dependencies. As the first Project Manager in the business you'll be able to shape the role, introduce best practice and make an impact.

The company has just received significant funding and has signed a deal with a major electronics manufacturer; this is an excellent opportunity to join as they scale. You'll be based in modern offices near Cambridge City centre with a quiet, relaxed working environment and core hours of 1000 to 1600; driven by technology the company can currently offer a remote interview and onboarding process and work from home with the expectation to do a mix of office based and WFH going forward.

Requirements:
*You have experience as a Project Manager in a start-up / SME environment
*You have a good technical understanding of software development and the development lifecycle
*You have a good knowledge of Agile methodologies and standard project management tools (knowledge of Confluence or JIRA would be great)
*You're able to produce clear, concise technical and project documentation
*You have strong analysis and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
*You're collaborative and pragmatic, able to form strong working relationships both internally and with client / 3rd parties

As a Project Manager you will earn a competitive salary (to £65k) plus benefits.
