Job Description

QA Test Engineer (Silicon ASIC Python RMS PVT Microchip Validation USB). Are you an experienced, ambitious QA Test Engineer, looking to take ownership and progress your career working on projects for an international client base?

A global technology company dedicated to developing state-of-the-art graphics technology products is seeking a QA Test Engineer to take a lead role in defining, setting up and performing IC validation, characterisation and hardware system testing.

The projects are exciting and varied; as the company has already won a reputation as an innovative leader in their field. You will be required to write test plans for ASIC validation, define test methods and identify equipment required for test activities, operating across the whole testing life cycle.

You will work with IC designers to understand validation requirements and software teams to define block test scripts, compiling block validation reports and characterising ASICs across PVT.

*You have experience of Silicon and microchip testing / validation
*You're confident in writing Python test scripts for test automation
*You're familiar with ASIC validation and can lead failure investigations and RMA analysis
*Desirable: experience with compliance testing of USB2 and USB3 using USB generator and analysers
