Job Description
As a QA Test Engineer you will help ensure the quality of the core banking platform written in Java with a focus on non-functional testing of performance, resilience and security. You'll be responsible for creating Test Plans, Test Reports and Test Scripts and utilising tools to measure, detect, isolate and resolve performance issues from performance (testing peak traffic), availability and resilience (stability of system), operability (how ready the platform is) and latency to meet particular criteria and regulatory compliance.
You'll be working across the full test lifecycle, liaising directly with clients and providing tactical and strategic test approaches for service level and component level performance testing; performing diagnosis and identification of performance issues in test and production environments and working on re-creation and resolution of the issues.

Requirements:
*Indepth experience with non-functional testing (performance, resilience and security) ideally within a finance / banking environment
*Experience of working in a Java development environment
*Ability to script / code using Java
*Good knowledge of tools such as NeoLoad, JMeter / BlazeMeter, Load Runner / HP Performance Centre
*Strong analysis and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
*Collaborative with strong communication skills, comfortable liaising with clients
