This is a high-impact role where you'll be primarily responsible for implementing quantitative statistical models which are used to forecast elements of demand and supply for European energy markets, highlighting any opportunities for improvement. Through delivering tailored statistical models and methods, you'll have the chance to showcase and develop your technical craft.
You'll work alongside a cross-disciplinary team of exceptional individuals including traders, analysts, business and support professionals who have previously held senior positions across trading houses, utilities and investment banks, so there will be plenty of learning and knowledge sharing opportunities.

Requirements:
*You have an exemplary record of academic achievement including 2.1 or above at BSc (likely to have pursued an MSc / PhD at top tier university)
*You are technically strong with Python, R, SQL and C++
*You're comfortable handling and working with large sets of data
*You have experience in implementing highly scalable, low latency, performant solutions
*You're a first-rate communicator, able to form robust working relationships at any level of business
*You're a proactive team player who excels when working collaboratively
