Job Description

Quantitative Analyst (Data Science Python Excel Computer Science). Pioneering FinTech is seeking a bright, ambitious Quantitative Analyst to enhance their capabilities across their newly formed Model Development team, to work on an exciting range of projects and gain invaluable high-level experience.

The organisation specialises in credit ratings, translating global level insights into local level solutions to support market-leading investors to make important credit judgements with confidence.

As a Quantitative Analyst you'll work with talented developers and analysts to develop and enhance data models used in the credit rating process (such as cash flow models, capital models and econometric models) conducting comprehensive testing and preparing model documentation.

You'll be based at offices in the heart of the City, which host a relaxed yet professional atmosphere. As a Quantitative Analyst you'll earn a highly competitive salary (to £60k) plus a comprehensive benefits package, including private medical insurance, generous pension contributions, season ticket and computer loans, subsidised gym membership and more.

Requirements:

*You have a 2.1 or above in a quantitative discipline, i.e. Mathematics, Statistics (MSc or PhD highly desirable)
*You have experience with Cash Flow modelling
*You are highly proficient in Excel
*You have Quantitative, programming and modelling experience (Python)
*You are a process-minded individual, committed to producing technically-excellent work and upholding the company model governance framework
*Desirable: Database, R or UI design skills, previous exposure to credit rating analysis or modelling
