Job Description
As a Quantitative Analyst you'll join a talented team of traders, analysts and other professionals who all have experience within trading, utilities and investment banks. Your role will involve implementing quantitative statistical models used to forecast the supply and demand and pricing for energy markets across Europe. You will focus specifically on analysing weather data to identify risk and will deliver bespoke statistical models and methods.
The company is based in London, however they offer flexible working allowing you to work from home 2 - 3 days a week.
Requirements:
*Top education with a PhD or Masters in Physics, Statistics or similar (your degree must have had a data or statistical focus)
*Strong Python, C++ and SQL skills
*Ability to work with large data sets and ideally focussed on the quality of data
*Excellent communication and collaboration skills
