Job Description

Security Engineer (Golang OWASP). Would you thrive within an impactful, business critical Security Engineer role where you'll work alongside some of the top minds within the cyber security space? Do you enjoy pulling things apart and determining how they might be hacked or manipulated? You could be part of a tech driven cyber security company that use modern technologies to build exciting threat prevention software products.

As a Security Engineer you will be joining the cyber video team where you'll oversee the security of new product features across cloud security and video security ensuring they cannot be hacked or manipulated. You'll work directly with customers to communicate security features and controls and when issues are found with features, you'll work to rapidly get fixes in place. You'll be hands-on with the developments teams to guide threat modelling of new features and ensure that the necessary testing is in place from a security standpoint. You will have two junior members in your team who you will be mentor, guide and lead technically.

The company is based in Uxbridge however, you will have the flexibility to work from home 3 days a week. There is onside parking available or alternatively it's only a 5 minute walk from the train station (direct tube line to central London). *Previous experience within a Security Engineer role working within software development teams and a broad knowledge in software security
*Familiarity with OWASP Top Ten and common problems found in software development
*You have an engineering mindset and a background in software development using any programming languages (ideally Golang)
*Must be degree educated from a top Tier university / Oxbridge university in Computer Science or similar
*Excellent communication and collaboration skills
*Ability to mentor and lead others technically
