Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead Krakow 24,000 p/m

Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead (Spring Multi-threading Java 8) *Remote Interview WfH*. Global FinTech is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to take a lead role within an Agile development team responsible for the company's core trading systems.

As a Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead you will split your time between hands-on development and team leadership / mentoring. You'll architect, design and develop complex real-time, low latency trading systems and execution services within a microservices environment focussing on backend multi-threaded Java systems and will gain exposure to a wide range of tech (e.g. Oracle Coherence, SpringBoot, Kafka, ActiveMQ, Docker and Kubernetes).

As a senior member of the team you'll lead the technology choices and set best practice, coaching and mentoring your team to reach their full potential.

There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; from September you'll join colleagues in the Krakow office for 2-3 days a week.

*You have strong core Java backend software development including multi-threading
*You have strong logic and problem solving skills
*You have a good knowledge of SpringBoot, Tomcat and / or Kafka
*You have the aptitude and desire to learn, with a keen interest in low latency / high throughput systems
*You're collaborative, keen to share ideas and mentor others
*You have good English language skills; Polish would also be great but not essential
*You're likely to be degree educated, Computer Science ideally

As a Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead you will earn a competitive salary to 24,000 Zloty p/month, plus bonus and benefits package.
