Job Description

Senior Service Desk Engineer / Manager (Microsoft Windows Office 365) *Remote Interview WfH*. Are you a Senior Service Desk Engineer seeking a role where you can progress to a management position, take ownership and remain hands-on? You could be joining a successful FinTech and progressing your career in senior, hands-on role where you can have a great deal of influence and see the impact of your work.

As a Senior Service Desk Engineer / Manager you will have oversight of internal systems support, managing two more junior Service Desk Engineers. There's a broad scope of responsibilities for the team including the effective and efficient rollout of and delivery of software updates to users and monitoring and reporting of KPIs to analyse overall service delivery. You will establish and implement all service delivery operational processes and procedures and improve productivity via coaching and mentoring as well as the evaluation and recommendation of new technology.

Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures; when it is possible to get back to the office you'll be working in a collaborative team environment based in St. Albans, Hertfordshire (25 minutes from Kings Cross); parking also available (10 mins from M25).

Requirements:
*You have strong experience in a Service Desk / Helpdesk role
*You have indepth knowledge of Windows 10 support; desktop patch and application management; Microsoft Exchange; Active Directory; Office 365
*You're also familiar with networking including configuring switches, VPNs and firewalls
*You're keen to take ownership and lead / mentor others
*You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
