Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer (AWS Terraform CI/CD). As a Site Reliability Engineer, you are the glue that holds a technical operation together.
From bringing together software and engineering systems, to influencing technology-focused discussions, decisions and strategy, you are an integral component in the entire technical ecosystem.
Would you like an opportunity to support the operation of an organisation currently disrupting the modern FinTech market?
They are seeking a tech-driven individual to support them in building and running large scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems deployed to AWS.

You'll support the services before they go live through system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews, and once they are live, you'll monitor and measure availability, latency and overall system health with a focus on scalability.
This Site Reliability Engineer role would suit an accomplished technologist who is committed to high quality work across the full lifecycle, from design and deployment, operation and refinement. Not only will you have the opportunity to influence mission-critical technical discussions and strategy, you'll mentor junior team members to optimise their professional development.
*Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview, onboarding and 100% work from home until mid-2021, with 3 - 4 days a week WfH going forward. When in the office, you'll be part of a vibrant team environment with fantastic catering, games rooms and quiet spaces*
*You have experience in a similar DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure role

*You can script (or code ideally) with Python, Go, Perl, Ruby, C, C++ or Java
*You have good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design
*You're familiar with DevOps environments / Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
*You're a proactive and collaborative team player who is happy to step into the lead role on projects and provide mentoring
